Mahebourg Historical Naval Museum displays several maritime artefacts and the history of Mauritius such as naval battles and shipwrecks. From there, explore Mahebourg Market which houses fresh local produces, local ready-to-eat foods and amazing handcrafted souvenirs. As we moved, visitors may enjoy a relaxing walk on the Mahebourg Waterfront and find locals enjoying the sea view. A memorial place can be found nearby called Pointe Canon, as this place marked the end of slavery on the island. Freshly added to our tours, a visit to Ylang Ylang reserve will certainly revive the sense through its semi-wild vegetation as the reserve accommodates some wild and domesticated animals.
